RentalBeam is responsible for your account data. For bookings made through a host's widget, the host is responsible and we process the data for them. Contact: info@rentalbeam.com

What we collect

• Account: name, email, password, business details. If you sign in with Apple or Google, the name and email they share with us.
• Bookings: guest name, contact details, dates, messages, and an ID document if the host asks for one.
• Payments: transaction and subscription records. Card details go to our payment processors.
• Phone app: your phone's address for alerts.
• Photos and files you upload: rental photos, logos, and attachments to messages.
• Support messages.
• Referrals: which host's invitation you signed up from, and the first name you choose to show on your own invitation page.
• Usage and crash data, only with your consent.
• From our Google ads: whether you signed up or paid.

Why

To run your account and bookings (our contract with you), to keep the service secure, prevent misuse of referrals, send service emails and a few tips about features of your account (you can turn tips off from any tip or in Account), and see where guests' card payments stop so we can fix them, recorded by booking with no names (our legitimate interest), to improve the service and measure our ads (your consent), and to keep invoices (the law). Only account details are required; without them we cannot open your account. We make no automated decisions about you.

Who receives it

We never sell personal data. It goes only to the providers on our subprocessors page, who must protect it as this policy does, to Google Maps and Brandfetch when a map or logo loads, to Google Ads, and to authorities when the law requires. Google may collect information about your activity across websites. Transfers outside the EU or UK use standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision; email us for a copy.

How long

While your account is open, usage data and support messages included. A deleted account is erased within 30 days, except invoices, which the law requires us to keep. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and only people who need it can access it.

Your rights

You can access, correct, delete, export or restrict your data, object to how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time in Cookie settings on the website or Account in the app. Email info@rentalbeam.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority. Our website does not respond to Do Not Track signals. We post changes on this page. See also our cookie policy.
