This cookie policy explains how RentalBeam ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website, dashboard and embeddable widgets. It sits alongside our privacy policy, which covers everything else we do with personal data.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device so it can remember something between page loads or visits: that you are signed in, which theme you picked, or the cookie choice you already made. We count the storage in your browser that we use to remember your preferences as cookies too, because it does the same job.
Do we use cookies?
Yes, but only two kinds. Essential cookies keep you signed in and the service secure, and they cannot be switched off because the site does not work without them. Analytics cookies help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it, and those run only after you agree. We do not use cookies for advertising, and we do not sell your data.
Who sets the cookies?
Most are first-party, set by RentalBeam itself to run your account and remember your choices. One is third-party: our analytics provider, PostHog, sets its own cookie once you consent. No other third party sets a cookie through our site.

Measuring our ads
If you reach RentalBeam from one of our Google ads, the link carries a click code from Google. When you create an account, we keep that code and later tell Google Ads whether the click led to a sign-up or a payment, so we can see which ads work. Nothing is stored on your device for this. If you press Reject all, we do not keep the code. If you never answer the banner and are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we do not keep it either. We delete the code within three months of your sign-up.
Your choices
The first time you visit, a small banner asks whether you allow analytics cookies and ad measurement. You can accept or reject, and rejecting still lets you use every part of the site. Essential cookies always run because the service depends on them.
You can change your choice at any time from Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings:
Blocking essential cookies stops parts of the site, such as signing in, from working.
