Terms of Service

Agreement to These Terms

By creating an account or using RentalBeam ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

What RentalBeam Provides

RentalBeam provides booking, availability, and map widgets that property owners and managers ("hosts") embed on their own websites, along with a dashboard to manage properties and sync availability from external calendars. On eligible plans, you can also use it to collect guest payments and messages.

License to Use the Service

Subject to these Terms and your subscription plan, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use RentalBeam and to embed our widgets on websites you own or manage. You may not resell, sublicense, or use the Service to build a competing product.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You're responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

Subscriptions & Billing

Paid plans renew automatically for the billing period you select until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Prices may include taxes required by law in your location. See our Refund Policy for details on refunds.

Hosts & Guest Bookings

If you use RentalBeam to accept bookings, you're solely responsible for the accuracy of your listings, the terms of your rental agreements, and complying with the laws that apply to your property and business. RentalBeam is not a party to the agreement between you and your guests and is not responsible for disputes between you. Where guest payments are enabled, they're processed directly by our payment processor; RentalBeam does not hold guest funds.

If you collect personal data from guests through your widgets, including any identification document your booking form requests, you're responsible for having a lawful basis to do so and for your own privacy practices toward your guests. We process that data on your behalf to operate the Service, consistent with our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to infringe others' rights
• Harass, threaten, defraud, or abuse other users or our team
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to the Service
• Upload malicious code or attempt to reverse-engineer the Service
• Misrepresent your identity, or a property's availability, pricing, or condition
• Send spam or unsolicited bulk communications through the Service

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you upload, such as property details and photos. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to host, display, and transmit that content as needed to operate the widgets you create. You're responsible for having the rights to any content you upload.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and underlying software, belongs to RentalBeam and its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

Logos or names of third-party platforms shown in the Service are used only to help you identify and connect your existing accounts, and remain the property of their owners.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for a material breach of these Terms, or as needed to protect the Service and other users. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

Disclaimers & Liability

The Service is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or any statutory rights you have as a consumer.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we'll provide reasonable advance notice before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Nothing here limits any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
