Terms of service

By using RentalBeam you agree to these terms. You must be 18 or older and, if you use it for a business, able to accept them for it.

The service

RentalBeam gives hosts booking, availability and map widgets for their own websites, a dashboard and a phone app. You may not resell the service or use it to build a competing product.

Your account

Keep your details accurate and your sign-in safe. You are responsible for everything done in your account.

Plans and billing

Our order process is run by our online reseller Paddle.com, the merchant of record for all orders. Plans renew automatically at the price and period shown at checkout until you cancel. You can cancel any time and keep your plan until the end of the period. See our refund policy.

Referrals

Hosts can invite others with a referral link. Rewards are extra time on a RentalBeam plan; they have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged. Only new accounts and completed payments count. We may withhold rewards for referrals to yourself or to accounts linked to you, for refunded payments, or for misuse. We may change or end the program for future invitations; time already added stays.

Hosts and guests

You are responsible for your listings, your agreements with guests, your guests' data and the laws that apply to your rentals. RentalBeam is not a party to those agreements and does not hold guest funds. Our data processing agreement is part of these terms.

Rules

Do not break the law, abuse anyone, disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, upload malicious code, misrepresent a rental or send spam. We may suspend or close accounts that do, suspend access to protect the service or other users, or end the service with 30 days' notice. You can delete your account at any time.

Content

You own what you upload and let us host and show it to run the service. The service is ours. Other platforms' names and logos belong to their owners.

Liability

The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not responsible for the services it connects to, such as booking sites, calendars and payment providers. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, lost bookings or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 100. You cover claims against us caused by your listings, content or breach of these terms. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability the law does not allow us to limit, or your rights as a consumer.

Changes and general

We post material changes here 30 days before they apply. If you keep using the service after that, you accept them; if not, you can cancel. These terms are the whole agreement; if one part is invalid, the rest stands. You may not transfer them without our agreement; we may transfer them to a business that takes over the service.
