Booking Window
A booking window is the stretch of future time a host makes available to book - either a rolling number of days from today or a fixed cutoff date. Dates beyond the window aren't offered, which keeps a host from having to plan (or price) further ahead than they're comfortable committing to.
An unlimited booking window shows every future date the synced sources and manual blocks allow. A limited one caps that horizon - for example, 90 days out - and any date past the cutoff appears closed on the public calendar until it rolls into the open window.
A booking window is different from advance notice: a booking window limits how far ahead a guest can book, while advance notice limits how soon before arrival they’re allowed to book at all.
Why it matters for hosts
RentalBeam lets a host set a rental’s booking window to unlimited, a rolling number of days, or a fixed end date. Dates beyond the window automatically show as closed on the calendar widget, without the host having to manually block them further out by hand.
