Colors & managed dates

Match the calendar to your brand and block dates manually. Configured in the dashboard, not in the embed code.

Available onPlusPro

Custom colors

On Plus and Pro, open the dashboard Calendars tab and pick the rental. In the builder’s Appearance section you set the available, booked, closed, and background colors. The widget on your site picks up the new colors automatically, with no embed code changes.

RentalBeam branding

On Plus and Pro you can hide the small RentalBeam mark. It is one setting per rental, and it covers that rental's calendar widget and map widget together - the booking form widget carries no mark at all. Turn it off and every widget for that rental updates on its own; nothing in your embed code changes.

You will find it right where you style the widgets: open the Calendars or Maps tab, pick the rental, and in the builder's appearance settings set RentalBeam branding to Hidden. Either builder works - it is the same setting, and changing it in one place covers both widgets.

On the free plan the mark stays visible. If you upgrade, hide it, and later move back to the free plan, your choice is remembered - the mark simply comes back while you are on a plan that includes it, and hides again if you upgrade later.

Managed dates

Managed dates let you block or label dates by hand, on top of the dates synced from your iCal sources. Use them for a maintenance window, an owner stay, a seasonal closure, or a hold.

  1. 1Open the dashboard Home tab.
  2. 2Find the rental's row and choose Manage dates.
  3. 3Add a date range.
  4. 4Give the range a label and pick a color.

Managed dates show on the embedded widget. They can be included in your iCal export too.

Custom colors, branding removal, managed dates, and iCal export require a Plus or Pro plan. The free plan shows the default colors with RentalBeam branding.
