Add a booking calendar to GoDaddy

To add a booking calendar to GoDaddy, copy your website code from RentalBeam and paste the script snippet into an HTML section. Guests see your open dates, synced from Airbnb, Vrbo and Booking.com. The calendar is free on every plan; the booking form (Pro) and the map (Plus or Pro) paste in the same way.

Availability calendar

Paste the calendar into GoDaddy. Free on every plan. Use the script snippet in an HTML section.

What you need

  • A GoDaddy Websites + Marketing page you can edit
  • Your RentalBeam calendar widget
  • At least one connected OTA or iCal availability source such as Airbnb or Vrbo

Steps

  1. Open the page in the GoDaddy Website Builder editor
  2. Add a section at the spot where guests should check availability
  3. Search the section list for HTML and choose Add
  4. Paste the RentalBeam script embed into the Custom Code field, leave Forced Height blank, then publish the site and check the live page

Before you publish

  • Leave Forced Height blank so the section grows with the calendar. Set a pixel height only when you want a fixed area.
  • Paste the snippet exactly as RentalBeam gives it to you. GoDaddy warns that custom code can affect the page, and a hand-edited snippet is the usual cause.
  • The HTML section is its own iframe, separate from the rest of the page, so judge the result on the published page rather than in the editor.

Where to put it

  • Add the HTML section right above your booking or inquiry button so guests can act as soon as they have checked dates.
  • Leave Forced Height blank so the section grows with the calendar instead of clipping it.
  • GoDaddy puts the section in its own iframe, so judge the layout on the published page rather than in the editor.

The script snippet looks like this

html
<script src="https://cdn.rentalbeam.com/v1/embed.js" async></script>
<div class="rentalbeam-calendar" data-rental-id="your-rental-id" data-rb-reserved style="min-height: 386px;"></div>

GoDaddy's HTML section runs the script embed inside its own iframe, isolated from the rest of the page. Leave Forced Height blank and the section sizes itself to the calendar, so the layout stays close to the native RentalBeam look.

Booking form

Take booking requests on GoDaddy. On Pro. Guests pick dates, see the price and send a request.

rentalbeam.com/dashboard
A rental's Booking form section: the live form preview with its website code beneath

Steps

  1. Open the page where guests should submit booking requests
  2. Add a section where the form should sit, search for HTML, and choose Add
  3. Paste the RentalBeam booking widget script embed into the Custom Code field and leave Forced Height blank
  4. Publish the site, then submit a test inquiry on the live page from desktop and from a phone

Before you publish

  • Use the full booking form on GoDaddy, not the compact search bar. The bar opens the form as an overlay on the page it sits on, and it cannot cover a page it is framed inside, so it would open in a new tab instead.
  • Leave Forced Height blank so the form can grow as guests fill it in. It gets taller on mobile.
  • Keep the snippet exactly as copied from RentalBeam. GoDaddy warns that custom code can affect the page.

Where to put it

  • Use the full booking form on GoDaddy rather than the compact search bar. The section is already an iframe, and the bar cannot open its overlay over a page it is framed inside.
  • Leave Forced Height blank so the form can grow as guests fill it in, especially on a phone.
  • Run your test inquiry on the published page, and keep the snippet exactly as RentalBeam gave it to you.

The script snippet looks like this

html
<script src="https://cdn.rentalbeam.com/v1/embed.js" async></script>
<div class="rentalbeam-booking-form" data-rental-id="your-rental-id" data-rb-reserved style="width: 100%; max-width: min(100%, 840px); margin: 0 auto; min-height: 160px;"></div>

GoDaddy's HTML section runs the booking form script and sizes to it when Forced Height is blank. Because the section is already an iframe, use the full booking form here rather than the compact search bar.

Map

Show where your rental is on GoDaddy. On your own website with Plus or Pro. Exact pin or approximate area.

Steps

  1. Open the page where guests should see your rental's location
  2. Add a section at that spot, search the section list for HTML, and choose Add
  3. Paste the RentalBeam map embed into the Custom Code field
  4. Publish the site and confirm the map on the live page

Save the rental's location on its Details page first.

Before you publish

  • Leave Forced Height blank so the section sizes to the map, or set a pixel height that matches the aspect ratio you picked in the Map section.
  • Place the map near your address or directions copy so guests find it naturally.
  • Paste the snippet exactly as copied from RentalBeam. GoDaddy warns that custom code can affect the page.

The script snippet looks like this

html
<script src="https://cdn.rentalbeam.com/v1/embed.js" async></script>
<div class="rentalbeam-map" data-rental-id="your-rental-id"></div>

GoDaddy's HTML section runs the script embed inside its own iframe, so the map keeps the theme and aspect ratio you chose in the Map section.

Troubleshooting

If a widget does not show on GoDaddy. It goes in an HTML section. Then check these, in order.

The HTML section is its own frame

GoDaddy renders the HTML section inside a frame of its own, so nothing on your page can restyle the widget. That is why Forced Height matters: blank, the section grows to fit the widget; with a pixel height, it stays exactly that tall.

Use the full booking form, not the search bar

The search bar opens the booking form over the page it sits on, and it cannot cover a page it is framed inside, so on GoDaddy it would open the form in a new tab. The full form works as it does everywhere else.

  1. Publish the page and check the live address, not only the editor preview.
  2. Open the page in a private window to rule out a cached copy.
  3. Check that your RentalBeam calendar already shows the right booked dates before you look at the page.
  4. Send one test booking request from the live page and confirm the email reaches you.

GoDaddy questions.

Can I use RentalBeam on GoDaddy?

Yes. The availability calendar, the booking form and the map all paste into an HTML section on GoDaddy, and they work alongside your Airbnb, Vrbo or Booking.com listings instead of replacing them.

Should I use a script or iframe on GoDaddy?

GoDaddy's HTML section runs the script embed inside its own iframe, isolated from the rest of the page. Leave Forced Height blank and the section sizes itself to the calendar, so the layout stays close to the native RentalBeam look. In practice, script is the best default for GoDaddy.

Will this sync with Airbnb, Vrbo, and Booking.com?

Yes. RentalBeam supports any iCal URL, so you can import Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, Google Calendar, and other compatible sources. The booking form reads the same calendar, so guests never see dates that are already booked elsewhere.

Do I need a property management system?

No. RentalBeam is for hosts who want synced availability and direct-booking tools without paying for a full PMS stack.

Does RentalBeam take a commission or booking fee on guest card payments?

RentalBeam Pro is a single direct-booking plan with no commission and no booking fee. It adds the booking form widget, guest-payment workflow, coupon codes, seasonal pricing, custom fields, booking rules, host email tools, and reply-from-inbox guest messaging. RentalBeam never takes a cut of your booking revenue. When a guest chooses to pay by card through RentalBeam, the only deduction is the standard Stripe card-processing fee, which is paid to Stripe - not RentalBeam. Inquiry, pay-later, and off-platform bookings (such as bank transfer) carry no per-transaction cost at all.

Which plan do I need?

The availability calendar works on every plan, including Free. The booking form needs Pro. Every plan can build and preview a map in a rental's Map section; showing it on your own website needs Plus or Pro.

Can I show an approximate area instead of my exact address?

Yes. Each rental's Details page lets you choose exact-pin mode or approximate-area mode. Approximate mode shows guests a shaded circle instead of your exact coordinates, and nearby highlights are withheld.
