Google Sites integration
Add a booking calendar to Google Sites
To add a booking calendar to Google Sites, copy your website code from RentalBeam and paste the iframe snippet into an Embed code box. Guests see your open dates, synced from Airbnb, Vrbo and Booking.com. The calendar is free on every plan; the booking form (Pro) and the map (Plus or Pro) paste in the same way.

Availability calendar
Paste the calendar into Google Sites. Free on every plan. Use the iframe snippet in an Embed code box.

What you need
- A Google Sites page you can edit, on a computer
- Your RentalBeam calendar widget
- At least one connected OTA or iCal availability source such as Airbnb or Vrbo
Steps
- Open the page in Google Sites on a computer
- In the right panel choose Insert, then Embed, then the Embed code tab
- Paste the RentalBeam calendar iframe snippet, click Next, then Insert
- Drag the bottom edge of the box until every month shows, then publish and check the live page
Before you publish
- Size the box on a computer. Google Sites works out the phone layout from it, so check the live page on a phone too.
- If the bottom of the calendar is cut off, drag the box taller. The box never grows by itself.
- Use the iframe snippet here, not the script snippet. Google Sites runs embedded code inside its own frame, which the iframe handles best.
Where to put it
- Put the calendar near your contact or booking details so guests can act right after checking dates.
- Drag the box until the last row of months shows in full. The box never grows by itself.
- Check the published page on a phone, because Google Sites works out the phone layout from the computer one.
The iframe snippet looks like this
<iframe src="https://rentalbeam.com/embed/your-rental-id" width="100%" height="459" frameborder="0" loading="lazy" style="border: none; border-radius: 8px; box-shadow: 0 4px 6px -1px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.1); display: block;"></iframe>Google Sites places embedded code in a box of its own, and you set that box's height by dragging, so it cannot grow with the calendar. The iframe snippet fills the box predictably.
Booking form
Take booking requests on Google Sites. On Pro. Guests pick dates, see the price and send a request.

Steps
- Open the page where guests should send booking requests
- Choose Insert, then Embed, then the Embed code tab
- Paste the RentalBeam booking widget iframe snippet, click Next, then Insert
- Drag the box tall, publish, and send a test inquiry from the live page on a computer and a phone
Before you publish
- Make the box taller than the form looks at first. It gets longer as guests pick dates and fill in details.
- Use the full booking form, not the compact search bar. The bar opens the form over the page, and it cannot reach past the frame Google Sites puts around embedded code.
- Send one real test inquiry from the published page to confirm the email reaches you.
Where to put it
- Use the full booking form, not the compact search bar. The bar opens the form over the page, and it cannot reach past the frame Google Sites puts around embedded code.
- Drag the box taller than the form looks at first, since it gets longer as guests fill it in.
- Send your test inquiry from the published page, on a computer and on a phone.
The iframe snippet looks like this
<iframe src="https://rentalbeam.com/embed/bookingform/your-rental-id" width="100%" height="640" frameborder="0" allowTransparency="true" allow="payment *" loading="lazy" style="border: none; background: transparent; border-radius: 8px; display: block; max-width: min(100%, 840px); margin: 0 auto;"></iframe>The booking form grows as guests fill it in, and a Google Sites embed box keeps the height you drag it to. The iframe snippet with a tall box keeps the whole form in reach.
Map
Show where your rental is on Google Sites. On your own website with Plus or Pro. Exact pin or approximate area.

Steps
- Open the page where guests should see your rental's location
- Choose Insert, then Embed, then the Embed code tab
- Paste the RentalBeam map iframe snippet, click Next, then Insert
- Drag the box to the shape of the aspect ratio you chose, then publish and check the live page

Before you publish
- Match the box to the aspect ratio you picked in the Map section (wide, standard or square) so the map is not cropped.
- Place the map near your address or directions so guests find it naturally.
- Check the live page on a phone, since Google Sites works out the phone layout from the computer one.
The iframe snippet looks like this
<style>@media(max-width:600px){.rentalbeam-map-frame{min-height:min(78vh,640px);min-height:min(78svh,640px)}}</style>
<iframe class="rentalbeam-map-frame" src="https://rentalbeam.com/embed/map/your-rental-id" title="Rental location map" loading="lazy" allow="fullscreen" style="width:100%;aspect-ratio:16/9;min-height:320px;border:0;border-radius:12px;display:block;"></iframe>Google Sites keeps embedded code in a box you size by dragging, so the iframe snippet in a box shaped like your chosen aspect ratio shows the map cleanly.
Troubleshooting
If a widget does not show on Google Sites. It goes in an Embed code box. Then check these, in order.
- Publish the page and check the live address, not only the editor preview.
- Open the page in a private window to rule out a cached copy.
- Check that your RentalBeam calendar already shows the right booked dates before you look at the page.
- Send one test booking request from the live page and confirm the email reaches you.

Google Sites questions.
Can I use RentalBeam on Google Sites?
Yes. The availability calendar, the booking form and the map all paste into an Embed code box on Google Sites, and they work alongside your Airbnb, Vrbo or Booking.com listings instead of replacing them.
Should I use a script or iframe on Google Sites?
Google Sites places embedded code in a box of its own, and you set that box's height by dragging, so it cannot grow with the calendar. The iframe snippet fills the box predictably. In practice, iframe is the best default for Google Sites.
Will this sync with Airbnb, Vrbo, and Booking.com?
Yes. RentalBeam supports any iCal URL, so you can import Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, Google Calendar, and other compatible sources. The booking form reads the same calendar, so guests never see dates that are already booked elsewhere.
Do I need a property management system?
No. RentalBeam is for hosts who want synced availability and direct-booking tools without paying for a full PMS stack.
Does RentalBeam take a commission or booking fee on guest card payments?
RentalBeam Pro is a single direct-booking plan with no commission and no booking fee. It adds the booking form widget, guest-payment workflow, coupon codes, seasonal pricing, custom fields, booking rules, host email tools, and reply-from-inbox guest messaging. RentalBeam never takes a cut of your booking revenue. When a guest chooses to pay by card through RentalBeam, the only deduction is the standard Stripe card-processing fee, which is paid to Stripe - not RentalBeam. Inquiry, pay-later, and off-platform bookings (such as bank transfer) carry no per-transaction cost at all.
Which plan do I need?
The availability calendar works on every plan, including Free. The booking form needs Pro. Every plan can build and preview a map in a rental's Map section; showing it on your own website needs Plus or Pro.
Can I show an approximate area instead of my exact address?
Yes. Each rental's Details page lets you choose exact-pin mode or approximate-area mode. Approximate mode shows guests a shaded circle instead of your exact coordinates, and nearby highlights are withheld.
