Notifications & the review link
Who gets emailed, and the secure link they use to review and respond to a request.
Who gets notified
By default, booking emails go to your account email. Under Bookings - Booking settings - Emails, you can add up to 3 recipient addresses in total for a rental - useful for a co-host or a shared team inbox. Additional addresses must first be added and verified in Account Settings before you can select them as a recipient.
The same Emails tab lists every email RentalBeam sends for the rental - what you receive, what your guests receive, and which of them you control - so there is never a mystery email.

notifications@hosts.rentalbeam.com as safe. What triggers an email
You’re notified when a guest submits a booking inquiry or request, and again on a pending reminder if a request is still awaiting your response. The instant new-request email has its own on/off switch on the Emails tab, so a host who lives in the dashboard can mute it without losing the reminder. You can also turn on an optional email that lets the guest know their request was received, ahead of your reply - see Booking rules for how long a pending request holds its dates and the reminder timing.
Guests hear the outcome. Confirming a request always sends the guest a booking confirmation. When you decline a request or cancel a confirmed booking from the dashboard, you choose at that moment whether the guest is emailed, and you can add a personal note that is sent exactly as written. Which way that choice starts is yours to set on the Emails tab. The same choice appears when you change the dates of a confirmed booking, so the guest’s inbox never keeps stale dates. If a held request expires on its own, the guest is told the dates are open again - that email has its own switch on the Emails tab too.
The secure review link
Every host notification email includes a secure link to a hosted review page where you can see the full request and confirm or decline it - no need to log in to the dashboard first. The link is unique to that request and safe to open directly from your inbox on any device.
Guest-facing email branding
Guest-facing booking emails - the request received confirmation, booking confirmed, payment received, and the declined or cancelled notices - use your brand accent color set in booking appearance, the same color that styles your booking form widget and hosted payment page. See Appearance.
